It sounds like something from that film about Babe, the piglet who thought he was a herd dog. Louie is a likable, nine month-old pig who takes a turn on the Agility course just like a champion canine. He shows no hesitation at all, dashing through tunnels, leaping over obstacles and walking the narrow beams: all the usual elements of competition in the best known of sports for dogs.
Another trait Louis shares with his dog friends is a willingness to play “fetch”, not an ordinary practice for swine, nor is that of coming when his name is called. The story of this unusual athlete was brought to our attention by England’s Daily Mail.
