Lu Lu the dog has become a local celebrity in Zhumadian, in the Chinese province of Henan, because he prefers to walk upright on his back legs.
Zhou Guanshun, the 18-month-old dog’s owner, taught his pet to walk on two legs by holding one of its front paws.
He learned to walk upright when he was just four months old, and hasn’t stopped since”, Zhou says, adding that even when the little dog rests, rather than lie down he prefers to squat on his back legs, sitting upright with his front paws off the ground.
Zhou takes Lu Lu for a walk every morning in a nearby square, where he is popular with the morning exercisers, who bring him snacks. Our source was Orange News.
