Australia’s ABC News reports that the worldwide boom in doggy dancing, particularly the “freestyle” variant, has reached the farthest corner of the Earth, the island of Tasmania off the Australian coast.
This unique sporting discipline brings the talents of humans and their dogs together with music, athletic preparation, choreography and just plain fun.
According to the news report, the Tasmanians are in training to take their abilities and those of their animal friends to the Australian national competition in Victoria this fall. To think that doggy dancing reached mainland Australia just last year!
As ever, best wishes from Animal Glamour to both two-legged and four-legged competitors.
